Default armrest with cupholders - does that fit?

Never seen this one. Claims that it fits on E32 and E34 and is very rare.

I don't see how it can fit unless you cut your console up. The part where the rear cupholders come out is where my rear AC vents are. This thing would have to sit ontop of the place where my inoberable phone is. I could be wrong but I don't think it would work. Great concept though.

It looks pretty well done. I wish there were pictures with it installed.

    Default it might fit

Contacted the bidder and asked for the BMW part number. He does not have it. That means after market model.
Just checked the original optionals. There was a cassette tape box available, to be inserted into the middle box between front seats like this

Default Looks like it will fit to me (m)

I've posted this before but here's the console box I've got and it looks about the same size -minus the cupholders. I found this on german eBay a few years ago. Lid flips up sideways for driver's access. It's a tight fit as you can see but makes the center console usable with the amount of stuff it can hold out of view and it's the perfect height to rest my elbow on in between shifts. I know they're extremely rare as I've only ever seen one other in a euro M5. I thought it was a BMW 'Lifestyle's Accessory' but there is no BMW, or otherwise, p/n on it.
You write "Born to Kill" on your helmet and you wear a peace button. What's that supposed to be, some kind of sick joke?

But yours has the ebrake cutout as the other one does not plus it looks to be a good couple of inches taller than yours (which I like by the way).

Default factory housing for center console

There is a radio accessory "housing for center console" part # 51168138379 that is/was available in different interior colors. Retails for at least $350-400. Apparently it is designed to hold cds andor cassettes. It fits into the center bin behind the emergency brake with a flip up cover. It looks tall enough to be used for an arm rest. Also nrrow enough that it does not get in your way. No cup holders.

Has anyone seen these anywhere? Check realoem for a picture.

It will fit!. No need for e-brake cutout as the front base is angled upwards to clear the e-brake. With front cupholders out, it will hinder the use of the e-brake tho.

I made one myself and went into great pains to measure the dimensions to ensure I got it right. Take a look. Opening left to right as well for driver access.
