Default Considering a 3 series wagon

The mrs wants a wagon and is out looking at a 2002 325 xiT (awd wagon). Anything I should know about these before taking the plunge?

They are good cars, the all wheel drivetrain has some issues with wear over time. The car is heavier, hence slower then the stock 2.5l car. I felt the e46 3 series wagon was a great car, not much fun to drive, never the less no MAJOR issues as far as I know!

I was going to buy one, but steered towards a 1991 525 wagon instead. Cash purchase is better then a purchase on credit! PLUS that old m50 motor just cranks! MAN 175k on the clock and she is still runnin' like new!

Yea no AWD... but I live in CA!

    - 2000 E36 Dinan M Roadster (S52 / 270hp)
    - 1991 E34 Touring Sport (project car)

I'm still learning, so bare with me!
