    Default Brake bedding question

put my new rotors and pads on, got them all nice and blued but cant really tell or see any "grey" coating from the pads on the rotors. Using the axxis deluxe plus pads. They definetly stop better than before I did any bed procedures. Did 2 bedding cycles so far, stoptech claims these pads should leave the grey coating on the rotors...

    any ideas?

    Default Break pad bedding

I just put on metal masters (different than yours), however, I did the 10 step process of going from 35MPH to 5MPH. They seemed to bed just fine without any unusual squeaks, etc.
Since I don't have the exact same pad I can't comment on the grey color, but I kind of like the 10 step process as it only takes a few miles of driving. Since these guys are the experts on pad bedding (as they are the manufacturers), I would continue the process as designed..
