Default I need help to paint my needles red just like on the M5, any suggestions?

I want to have the M5 red needles on my 525i, I dont want to buy a M5 gauge sence it has problems if u place it on a 525i, so i just wanted to paint it red. So I was wondering if anyone did that to their e34 and how did it work. Did it look good at night when it was lit, and how was it to paint it and what paint. If u did this to your e34 or know how to do it please help. And do u have any photos?

id say you could goto the local hobbyshop and pickup some Tamiya brand clear red paint. ask a rep in there and he'll direct you to em. they come in little 2oz containers and you dont need much to just paint some needles. good luck

i didn't remove the steering wheel. i took the cluster apart behind the steering wheel, and did the needles from there.
