I actually passed the burned out wreck of this Missan Patrol about an hour after it happened. Caused miles of jam as on-lookers curosity gets the better of it.

Its a terrible thing to have a grenade throw into the car and going off!.




PS: Evening report mentioned that a grenade went off. Don't think there would be any survivors, if that were the case...

Manila. The capital city of 14 million!. This is just off a large shopping mall with 4 lane highway each direction.

Later heard that owner was a "drug dealer"!. Apparently, someone punch the rear windows and threw a grenade in!.

Those in the army before, how many seconds before the grenade explodes when the pin was out ???. 10 secs ?.

PS: My E34 Touring was passing by and saw this, about 45 mins after it happened. My initial thoughs were fuel tank fire but I was stump as to how the fire started at the rear end while 1/3 of front hood seems clean and the rest of the SUV was burned black (as if a bomb blew it).

Thanks, that the amount of time needed to get it OUT once anybody landed in this situation.
