    Default rear axle stand location

Really...this has been discussed to death b4.But where REALLY,is the best location to put the axle stands on the rear so that you can work uninterrupted?Plse don't tell me to put it on the subframe(though that's the best location IMHO)coz I know for sure the 2 rear subframe bushes will tear under the load of the e34.
The weight of the e34 is actually carried by the strut tower.

Mate, the rear gets jacked up on the rear axle carrier, near the dogbones. Here's a pic. I don't know how you would jack the car by putting the bolts on the subframe bushes (don't the bolts get in the way of jacking it - on the jack I mean).

the pic is poor, its all I could find.
