just residual oil that was left in the coolant passages, clean it up periodicly and you should be good to go.
hello all.
just topped up my coolant tank, and noticed a cream coloured sludge on the underside of the filler cap. is this somthing i should be worried about? the head gasket went last august (and was fixed at great expence!) but i havnt noticed the sludge before....

from the old gasket and/or when the head was pulled oil can get into the water passages, dont take much more than a few drops.
