    Default Whoaa...!!!

Do you have the access to a spare key?

If yes, just get the spare key & open it from the outside. (This is a double lock feature...BMW has a warning NOT to lock the car while any person is inside the car...!!!)

Otherwise, you will have to call a $tealer & get a spare key to open the door from the outside.

Or, you could tell him to break the rear windows glass (the small one) to throw the key out for you to open it (from the outside).
(Yeah, this way you have to sacrify the smallest glass on the windows.)

    Good luck...

How did you lock him in without the key with the key inside of the car?

he had the key. got in the car, and locked the doors from the inside, and then couldn't open them or start the car. i assume it was the car "thinking" that someone was trying to steal it (ie, when you have the window rolled down and the car locked, you cant just reach in and open it from the inside). well i got a ride home and got the extra key, it works fine now. i thought it might have been the alarm module, but he disconnected that from the inside and that didn't help. so i had to drive home.. good thing my stepdad works close to me so it didn't take too long.

    what an adventure..

Default Yep, that is such an adventure...

Double security lock feature...brought to you by amazing BMW security system.
(In fact, I test this feature the 1st day when I read it from the user manual. Yeah, it works as it supposed to do...)

Default Just make sure...you leave the window opened

(before you press the lock button on the remote) !!!

Well, I think this was going on, after your brother got into the car, he probably just accidentally pushed the lock button (on the remote).

Whooppssss, the central lock just engaged...
    Then, everything just shut off...
And, he got stucked inside the car.

nope.. he didn't have the remote. it was actually at home with my spare key. if he did, he'd just have to unlock it (From the inside) which wouldn't be a problem.. that's what worries me. its like the system got ingaged by itself or something... really REALLY weird

Default Learn and practice the sunroof mechanical opening ...

    for future occurrences.

Not sure about this model, but some have the wrench behind the removable roof panel, near the mirror.

For the ones that have it in the trunk, this post make me think it may be time to move it inside the cabin!!!
