    Default touring power steering????

I have a 1992 525it. Sadly, the LAD system finally sprung a leak. In order to get it somewhere where I can work on it I need to set up the hydrolic system in a loop. Problem is I don't know which outlets are for what on the power steering pump. Can't quite see where they go.

If anyone has some info on what line goes where from the power steering pump, that would be very helpfull. The bentley manual doesn't cover this subject very well.

    Radar,

The colonel here. Check out bav auto tech link here :

Download the E32_34LADelim kit. It had diagrams of the hoses.
You can either plug the hydralics where they indicated or just LOOP from the ps_pump itself. Might be able to reuse the existing hose end, I am not sure.

Good luck. Mine LAD was plugged by PO , so no worries for me.

Follow the lines from the reservoir. On an M50 (which you may not have), it is at the front left of the engine compartment. One of the lines coming off of it goes to a cooling line in front of the radiator. The other line goes to the PS pump.
