Default Question on Bilstein Touring shocks

I was about to order some Bilstein Touring shocks for my 1992 535i off of ebay, but now I'm concerned if they'll fit. The seller's description reads:

    "to fit 1988 to 1995 BMW E34 , 525i(except 24 valve) , 530i , 535i and 540i , 2.5" dust cap with 19mm nut , except air-leveling system"

How do I know if these are correct. The nut on top of my shock (accessable in engine bay) is larger than 19mm. Is this the nut being referred to?

    Again it's a '92 535i no self levelling.

    Thanks

It's probably a 22mm, but I don't know if the 535's ever had 22mm's installed (someone with a '92 535 want to confirm?). In order to use the 19mm, you need a metal adapter/sheath to make the 19mm shaft fit snugly in the strut mount. Alternatively, you could buy 19mm strut mounts ($120 for both?) and use them. Or, even better, you could buy the two metal sheaths that I have left over from my sachs kit install and put everything together (PM me). Best, whit

OK there are actually 3 offerings on ebay for these shocks:

    1)1988 to 1995 BMW E34 , 525i(except 24 valve) , 530i , 535i and 540i , 2.5" dust cap with 19mm nut

    2)1988 to 1995 BMW E34 , 525i(M50) , 1.125" dust cap with 22mm nut

    3)1988 to 1995 BMW E34 , 525i(except 24 valve) , 530i , 535i and 540i , 2.5" dust cap with 22mm nut

    Mine is not a 19mm, a 22mm fits but it's still a little loose.
And if dust cap means the plastic cap on top of the tower in the engine bay, mine measures a full 3" in diameter. I'm confused.
