oil pressure guage sender unit??

does the m20 engine have an oil pressure sender as standard or just an idiot light sender?

can i tap into that signal at all or do i have to replace the sensor to one with 2 outputs?

to run both the BMW sensor and the one for the guage.

Otherwise you'll wind up seeing "Oil Pressure Sensor" flashing accross the dash.

i heard that bmw did a 2 pin sensor for this situation, can anyone confirm?
