radio shack has the correct battery for the lighted key, you know that 1.5 volt bastard that's a bitch to find because of the weird shape, it's part # 625 and cost me with tax $3.70, i may do some research into a good led when my bulb dies or i get board, i think a 3 volt photon led works better then the regular bulb even at 1.5 volts
all america wants is cold beer warm cat and a place to take a poop with a door on it

Conversion is simple, I canibalized a LED toy for parts.
Just drill the Key light hole to accept the LED and march on down to Radio Shack for a 3 volt battery that fits.
Its a lot brighter than that ol' xmas bulb.
Vee ave vays of dealing vid your kind...........
The 3V Lithium coin cell CR1620 is the correct size, fit + side to the button, - side to the spring. Look at the guts of the LED - wire the thick side to the copper strip, the thin side to the spring. (Yes I know about anode and cathode but...)Originally Posted by Blitzkrieg Bob
