on a m50 it's on the bottom of the intake manifold plenum by the brake booster
Can anyone verify the ECU temperature sensing unit location? I have been told this sensor's failure/weakness may cause an engine to run rich.
I know my car reaches the correct operational temperature. However, this seems to be something different. TIA

I will take a look at my Bentley and then price it out. May just replace if price is reasonable and not hard to locate and fix. However, I assume if defective, I would see a code on the stomp test. I have seen no error codes. Thanks again.

it should be easy enough to check with a multi meter set on ohm's, then warm or cool it watching it for change in the reading
