So I finally admitted defeat in determining the jerking problem and took it to an Indy.
Here's what they said, Scanned codes had crank pulse generator, cheked sensor signal, checked reluctor ring, found crank pulley wobbling, needs to be replaced w/ sensor.... ~$900
Sound right? Whats the reluctor ring?
I know that area is a PITA to work on for the V8s so I'd assume some high labor time.
Thanks

It may be possible that last person attempt to reinstall the pulley didn't line up the notch and bolted it in... causing it to wobble and vibrate.
Any guesstimates to what this work should cost?
The only work I've had done in that area are the water pump & belts replaced, so unless it was bolted in wrong from that, and that work was a while ago.
maybe the bolt got loose... check it.
