    Default M5 wheels

    hi guys/girls,
    recently bought M5 wheels see pics attached and the car shakes when i get to about 90kmh. i got hubcentric rings, new tyrerod ends, off car wheel balance. i'm thinking caster alignment or on car wheel alignment? any suggestion on what elce it could be for an 89 525i E34? thanks evenyone.

    Richard...Find a shop that has a Hunter Roadforce and have them balance the tires out. 90km/h is about the right speed for the infamous bushings problems, anyway -- have you checked them out?

    whats a hunter roadforce? no i havent checked the brushings. where are they located and i'll chuck her up on the jack?

    Why would it be the bushings if he only noticed it when he put the new rims on? Would he perhaps just need hubcentric rings as his new rims may have the 74.1mm center bore?

    Well...it was just a thought. Lifting the front of the car to change the wheels might've been the last straw for a worn set of thrust arm bushings.

    But yes, I agree with Jeff that it's probably an out of round or misbalanced wheel. Gotta look at the whole picture, though. 55mph is the right speed for the wobbles
