Default Oil Pressure Sensor location on M20

So I got the Oil Pressure Sensor message and gong when I turned off my car yesterday. I opened the Oil filler cap and got sprayed so I know I have oil pressure. I searched the archives and found that my problem may be a bad oil pressure sensor. Where is the oil pressure sensor on the M20 (1989 525i)? Can I get the sensor anywhere other than the stealer? Thanks in advance.

just above the oil pan on the right hand side of your engine. It' s very accesible. Use a 24 mm spanner to remove it. It will not be too expensive from the dealer at all. 20 quid should do it.
