Also check on E32 or E38 board there, do not know exactly which 7 you have.
Anybody got a spare basketweave wheel centercap removal tool to sell?
This would be for stock 16" BMW basketweave wheels on the '95 and later 740i, the type with the round centercap hubs, not the octagonal ones on earlier cars.

I bought some 16" basketweaves off a '95 740i to replace the 15" basketweaves on my '90 535i, but the old plastic wrench fits the old octagonal centercaps, but not the new round ones.
So, how to use screwdriver and pliers to safely remove the new round centercaps without messing them up?
Thanks,
Bart
PS: And, Jeff, I have not forgotten about your request for pics of the steering lock procedure--just been super busy and having download problems.
They do not cost a fortune. The one for my wheels costs <15 $
Maybe it is cheaper to buy from the dealer instead of paying for shipping for a used one.
