    Default Sway bar bushings

I suspect I finally found the source of the persistent 'clunk' in the front end of my iX. It looks like the bushings at both ends of the sway bar tie rods have fossilized. It also looks like they are a bear to replace, particularly those at the top of the struts. I confess, I was in a hurry and didn't spend a lot of time looking over the situation.

Can anyone shed some light on replacing these?

BTW, kudos to the BMW engineers for what has to be the easiest-to-replace O2 sensor in the history of automobiles. It was the original with 150000+ miles on it. Five minutes flat. And most of that was making sure the wiring was safely situated.
