Default Ground control coil over setup?

Talking to another e34 owner (not a member of this board), who is putting these on his e34 540i.

    http://www.ground-control-store.com/...tion.php/II=18

They retail for us$400. Allows you to lower the ride height of your car as you wish. Is anyone on this board running this setup. What do you guys think?.

They are come with eibach springs (I think) and recommended koni yellow shocks which I have.

I love the thought of having it stock height for the street and low for the track.

    Comments are appreciated as always

Interesting. The info on the web site is not clear. Looks like a sleeve that goes on the front strut. Allows you to adjust the front setup, not the rear. Also not clear what $400 gets you. 1 unit? Sleeve only? Sleeve and spring.

Coilovers are desireable for track work as you can adjust the corner weighting.

    Default any other companies

Are there any other companies that make adjustable coil overs for the E34? I looked before but never saw anything, maybe I was not looking hard enough.

    Default So did I Kris....

I heard nothing from them (yet)... its been a week.

These guys (German) do some really nice looking stuff, in 2 variants for the E34.

Looks like its these or the GCs, unless these are the GCs... does anyone know?

Perhaps someone in the US can hed down to GC and take some pics of those struts for us? Or perhaps someone in the BMW CCA has got these or the KWs...

check this board http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum//index.php? in the five series section. There are guys who have talked to groud control on this issue. Most of the guys that have them drive 3 series and e39's and there seems to be less intrest from them about the e34.
Most guys say call direct and you will get a better response, but like I said bieng that thier biggest customers are 3 series guys, they do not show a lot of interest in the e34.
also they are a supporting vendor for that forum and the owners post some times.
