Having previously resoldered a relay ( driving lights) within the LKM of my '90 535i, I picked up a euro spare ( it needed the low beam relay resoldered). The orriginal one has 3 mini relays, a double 'flip-over PC board, and is marked LKM-L USA
61.35-1 379-373
The euro is marked LKM-B ECE
61.35-1 379-372, and it has 4 internal relays ( one for rear euro fogs?), and is laid out on one PC board.

In operation, the only difference appears to be that the driving lights stay on with the high beams; this may also be the case for the USA version - I didn't confirm.

So, while it apparently does a nice job of controlling the lights, are there any differences/other functions/ etc that the LKM controls that suggest using the euro 4 relay unit may be a poor idea?
When something seems to work so well that it can't be true, perhaps it isn't .....
