btw, when i unlock using the passenger side lock, it unlocks all the doors
this is not a major problem but it bugs me quite a bit...
when using the keys to lock and unlock the door, there seems to be no problem. the power locks work perfectly.
the problem comes when im locking it manually (driver's side) when im inside the car. if i lock it, it locks all the doors, however the problem is when i unlock it, only the driver's side door locks.
is this some sort of electronic problem? i really dont think this is mechanical coz i have checked most of the moving parts already

relay proplem. just a suggestion
relay? which one? there are tons of it in the car
knob does not operate the central unlocking for all the car? If so, you have an issue with the driver's door actuator, specifically, with the micro switch that follows the knob position, as an alternative, you may have a false contact in one of the connectors that take this signal from the lock actuator to the General module.
It is a White/Black wire going from the actuator connector pin 6 (X660 connector), to the pin 13 of connector at the car body (X257 connector at the pillar holding the door hinge), then it turns into a White/Black/Yellow wire going to the General Module connector pin 23 (X255 connector).
I would check with a voltmeter for voltage at pin 23 of connector X255 at GM, it should rise to 12V when pulling up the knob.

hmmm.... anyone with pics of that?
This link is related to the pillar connector:

This links will help with GM connector:

Don't trust connector colors, but shapes.

none yet... checked the relays and everything... they seem to be fine... the fuse is ok... im gonna have it checked by the dealer if i dont find d fault in 5 days...
i have virtually dismantled the locking system already without seeing anything wrong...
if you follow these simple steps.
1.- Unplug the General Module. Use this link to identify X255 connector just below it.
2.- Identify pin 23 at X255 connector. Use this picture to identify it.

3.- Check voltage to ground at that pin 23 when somebody else pull up the driver's door knob. Should rise up, if not, either you have a dirty/wore switch contact at the door actuator, or some wiring issue from actuator to GM.
