    Default "Performance Friction" brake pads??

Has anyone had any experience with Performance Friction brake pads? They seems to have a good reputation in the industry, their pads seem a little more preformance oriented than Raybestos (maybe it's just the way their propaganda is written?), and the test results results on their website look promising: http://www.performancefriction.com/pages/brands.htm

They are also comparible in price to Raybestos on this site:

No affilliation, and haven't tried them myself, just curious if anyone has any more info. Thanks.

Yep, I tried them before and they had good stopping power, BUT not until they were warmed up. Getting off the highway, I had to pump the brakes once or twice to get heat in them.

They have lots of different compounds- their pure race compounds are very common in pro racing, even NASCAR. I like their "Z-rated" compound, which is available around here at Autozone, I used to use these pads on my E30 325is track car, until they stopped selling them!! The pads last a LONG time, stop very well, and are not harsh to rotors or wheels. I never had a problem with them not working when cold. I put a set of them on my F350 Dually farm truck/tow rig about a year ago, and they work great.
