    Love that upgrade! That has been on my list for a long time. Very tasteful. How about a pic with it light up when you get a chance

    Any chance of getting pics of the connection at the headlight switch and where you ran it to the shift boot?



    No, the wiring was not already in place. But if you look at the picture you can see the wiring that came with the knob. You just plug it between the interior light dimmer (beside the headlight switch) and the wire that goes into it. Then run the cable inside the dash to the shifter.[/QUOTE]

    For the record, it's a bmw anatomic shifter ....not a big knob
    and the middle aged divorced women are welcome especially if the have BMWs

    No, the dimming still works (with the knob illumination too).
    Keep in mind that these are original BMW parts so ofcourse they work
