I'd say the bentley manual... available at www.bmaparts.com for about 50 bucks
you could also buy a computer and have it connected to the internet out where you work on your car.... I mean the internet has just about all the answers (with less pictures, and diagrams of the work you hafta do)
Thanks, good point!
Buy it from alldirect.com
Mine was about $42.
The Bentley manual is the ONLY way to go. Don't waste your time or money with anything else.
it is nice to have the printed detailed instructions in front of you! So don't always rely on the internet.Quote:

Haynes manual, £2.20 on Ebay UK.

Ummm....Ed has a link on the top of every page here.
http://www.bimmer.info/bimmerbooks/
a very small portion goes towards Ed and it will help offset all his work and NEW FASTER servers!
Does the Bentley Manual cover UK spec cars?
Yeah...the Haynes is just about worth 2.2 pounds any way you shake a stick at it :)
True - if you want to support the board, get it through the link. Ed deserves much 'sport.
I keep my Bentley's in the trunk most of the time. Right now it's on a bookshelf because, sometimes...I just like to read it.
best, whit
mine says its "specifically designed to cover only those models built for sale in the United States" but maybe theres one out there for uk spec.. but anyway its 10000000x better than a haynes or chiltons even if its not uk spec
