I was driving last night hit a freaking pothole and my airbag went off. Now I need help removing it until I can get a new one. Does anyone know how that's done?

Torx T27 I believe. Unscrew those and the bag will come free from the steering wheel. Then unplug the orange connector.
did you $hit yourself when it went off ??
Must have been a friggin....mamoth pot hole!!!
Need a replacement? (after you fix whatever set it off?). Got one cheap.

Same thing happened to my mom a year and a half ago. Except it wasn't a pothole the road was just really torn up and bumpy. Airbag went off and broke her nose. Had to get surgery and everything. Glad you're OK!

to get the system active it will need more then a bag, the clock spring under the wheel will be roasted and the control unit is usually toast too, depending on the year the seat belt retractors could be blown, which ever sensor that hit may need replacment too
i put a bag out of a audi on it's face and set it off from behind cover, ****er jumped 75-100' in the air, now that's power
