looking for stock radio..
Yeah I had 2 radios and now I have 0.
Story behind it is, don't try to swap faceplates :D I think I killed the ribbon cable on the bmw faceplate. Who the hell uses a ribbon cable on a faceplate? Screw you bmw
Anyway, this is what I need, plain ol stock radio, just need some noise in my car.

I don't recall it being that hard...
It's a typical ribbon cable connection. You should have to force nothing. On each side of the black connector there a release. If you trip the release with a small screwdriver or something, the ribbon cable pulls out of the connector.
To re-attach the cable, you need to make sure the releases are "open" and then slide the cable back in. Snap the releases down.
That should do it.
I'm not sure why you'd need some pliers - can you explain?
