It is just all us enthusiastic newcomers. I have been wondering how long people typically stay active members of this board. Hope those of you who have "been there done that" don't get bored with the board and leave. Seriously, how long have some of you oldtimers been on this board?

Default Is it Election time yet???

    Oh God I hope not!

I promise this next time that I will try to keep my feelings a bit more subdued. Which as of now are that I want to move to a small island in the Bahamas and make straw hats for a living. I want to be Island Jack.

Default A lot of us have been here since the beginning of this board when

Ed made the offer and most of the original roadfly e34 board migrated here after the roadfly problems. The whole group was previously on roadfly, a number of them were there in late1999 early 2000 such as Phil Coppin, Jr,Robert K. Tim C.,Adnan, Jeff N., Quentin and Geoff, Drew Z, Micah O, Martin, Dave R., George Mann, alot of the others came along a year or so later so its been a pretty steady group until the last few months when its grown rapidly with a lot of newbies.

Default sheesh...has it been that long?

lessee...mumbles something about some many dollars per month to BMA * 60 months...er... ah.. ooooo ... THUD.

Could have bought an M3 by now I think. Of course, wouldn't know sh*t and wouldn't have made a bunch of good friends either!

    Naw...I think I'll keep the old E34.

Maybe we could get a honors visit by some of the old crew for the car show?

I've been here since the summer of 03. Found this board AFTER I bought my car and had no intentions of keeping it. Realizing that "normal?" people actually can work on these I decided to give her a go and found out that ther arent tougher to work on...just different. I waited about a year to see if I actually had Nikasil or not and when I found out I did...I wasn't concerned at all, however If I knew about it earlier I probably wouldnt be into Bimmers at all.
