Does your BMW help you score?
I drove an e30 convertible for a number of years. Truck drivers honked hello regularly even when the top was up. Then I switched to driving "Get out of my way or I'll run over your ass" trucks as daily commuter for about 7 years. No trucker honks in those. Pulled the e30 out of the garage, get honks again. Concluded I am much sexier in the fantasies of truckers in a BMW convertible.
Forgot about the above until driving home last night in the 535. Catch 3 different guys looking me over and smiling. Conclusion: BMWs in general, not just convertibles, increase sex appeal.
Remember a post where someone said all they have to do is mention the rondel and chicks are all over him. Remember someone else saying his fiver didn't help him attract chicks.
What do the rest of you think? Does your BMW help you with the opposite sex? Does this vary depending on what country you live in? Maybe BMWs aren't sexy in certain parts of the world.

Do you really want a chick, that is so pretencious, that she likes you for your car. no way! I live in Croatia, Europe, and bimmers are considered perfect cars for people who like one-night-standWomen do look at me with a smile on their face when they pull up next to me on stop lights and even when they walk by while I'm in a car, standing still. Too bad I already have a girlfriend - my score counter would spin faster than the trip counter!

Seriously here in Oz most chicks (under 25) go for testosterone laden 19 year olds wearing baseball caps on backwards driving shitbox 15 year old Commodores (common GM made sedan) with 19" Chinese chrome rims, blue neon washer jets and a tailpipe an entire football team could disappear into. Oh yeah I nearly forgot the Doof, Doof!Okay it's stereotypical, because it is stereotypical. I think many Aussies will recognise that.
Though they're probably not the females our group would be interested in... because they probably rather be seen in a Commodore like the one above than an E34. While a blinged out 3 Series might just tempt them, they'd probably equate a 5 Series with middle aged dirty old men!

The biggest factor is how YOU feel. If your self-esteem is high, your charm is on at full blast, your jokes are intelligent and you don't have an offensive odour, chicks will dig you. Trust me, I tried, and it works perfectly.

Used to illicit some reaction.... even from guys. One night I was stopped at a light and some dude leaned out the passenger side of a nissan and said: "you should give me that car, do you know how much p*$$y i could get in that car?" not quite sure what he saw in it. but it didnt do wonders for me. The 5 is a lot more subtle.

My e34 has in no way lent to me getting laid or picking up women. Since I have owned the car, I have only enjoyed the company of women with whom I was acquainted before I owned the car. So I like to think its just me- I'm no Brad Pitt, trust me, but I walk the walk and always hold my head up and I seem to do okay-
That aside, I have had a couple of ladies remark that my car was a very "sexy" car. So maybe they are just paying more attention to the 5er than me?
But I also live in LA, where a BMW seems to be a birthright around here.

chicks generally dig it...I dont let anyone know what I drive before they even see the car...I dont need a catalyst in that area. The car itself lends itself to more "sex" than appeal with its vast amount of "headroom"...LOL
