The other thread that mentions the "pimp mobile" and the "sexy beast" got me thinking about car names. There is Whit's Fritz. I remember someone saying they were going to sell "Brenda". Some else referred to their car as "Nikki". I think naming a car is an investment in the relationship with it.
I'm looking for a name for the newest addition to the stable, the 535. The 525 is the Lipison (the Lip for short). This was because it is white and has the same kind of muscle definition as the horse. Our 325 convertible was the Beauty because it was such a pretty car. At the time I bought it, I thought it was the prettiest car ever.
What do other people call their car and why?
Dinan chip, Bilstein sports w H&R, RD sways, RD strut brace, 750 bushings, Zimmermans/MetalMasters, O.E. M Pars, Eisenmann muffler
Mine is known at Turtle.
Cause its sOOOOOOOO SLOW. Would be more fitting if my car were green.

I can't understand people naming their cars. I am really emotionally attached to my E34, but I can't think of anything worse than naming it...
