Don't have Bentley yet...thought there was a repair section on this procedure.

Thanks

Bookmark my URL, where most of the tech tips pages for E32 are linked, including wiring diagrams online.

click to my site (http://tridem.han-solo.net/auto/erich/auto.htm)

Then go to 'more tricks from David', it's in the second section. Then click tipps and tricks. There are a lot of installation manuals (click left side there on "Einbauanleitungen"). The headline is German, but that are multi-language instructions.

here the info how to install rear sunblind (http://www.david750.de/hp1/eba/heckrollo.pdf)

electric rear blind repair (usually a worn plastic gear wheel) (http://evansweb.info/article.php?story=20030118235231115)

Hope that helps

Also bookmark this site. If you input your VIN number you get exactly the parts fitting to your car, nice explosion drawings when clicking on the first drawing, plus price info.
Also good for repair work, as you can see the parts in the drawings.

I selected 735iL 10/89 built, as I do not know your VIN (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?PHPSESSID=2f576ced29477680ec938848d4d39 ea1&model=GC43&mospid=45124&prod=19891000&hg=51&fg=60)

As for parts prices and vendors, clcik on the next link, where there are a lot of online vendors specialized on BMW, new and used parts. I usually use bavauto.com, as I can see the pics of the parts, but others might be sometimes cheaper. If you need an expensive part, it might be worthwhile to check with various vendors, as they sometimes have special offers.

clik here to online vendors list (http://home.earthlink.net/~hainesinutah/bmwvendors/)
