1990 e32 750iL sitting stock.... Any suggestions!!??

So got my 1990 750 running and it's running like a champ. Its sitting about as oem as you can get HahaaaWanna put some money into this baby so any suggestions on where to start? Also wanted to know what is the ideal size rims for this car?? Thanks.

with the rims I would not go over 17", 18" I tried but as a daily driver a bit hard.

Alright thanks a lot Shogun. I was thinking maybe 18" for the rims.What's the widest I should go on the rims?? That's another thing I'm not sure of.I do like the M Parallels would those work? Definitely gonna want the spring as well.

Wheel specifications:

Hub center diametre: 72.5 mm
Number of bolts: 5
Pattern: 120 mm (See picture)
Offset (ET): 20mm
The offset is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the centerline of the wheel. Wrong offset = bad handling.

An ET22 wheel is further in toward the centerline of the car than an ET20 by 2mm. ET13 wheels are 7mm further out than the OE E34/E32 wheels.

Thanks again Shogun that's very helpful. I was told by someone else to go not go bigger then 235 in front and 265 in back in the rims or I would have problems, is this true?? I was also wondering what us your thought on performance chips and which do you reccomend. Wanna add a little boost without spending too much. Thanks, Mr Cali

let's say the following, the wider the wheels and the tires, the more probs you will have with shaking/shimmy at certain speeds when the front axle parts are slightly worn or more, standard wheels/tires have less weight and they can 'cover' slight wear of parts. I would stick to the recommendations above.

As for the chips: I have them and on the German 7-forum for example a lot of people use them. For the 750 I have a set of 3 chips, each one for the 2 montronics and one for the EML, the EML chip is for more crispy, sporty throttle response and with max. speed limiter delete. The also mention a slight fuel consumption reduction under same driving conditions.
I have the chips for the older motronic version -156 as well as for the facelift engine with end number -352. Do not expect a racing engine then, that is limited and meant for daily use.
Depending on engine wear it will be up to 20 more HP on the M70 engine, max. 10% more NM, and max. speed.
Check the Bosch number on your Motronic to find out which part number it has, it is on a sticker outside the housing.
