I have just replaced my alternator and a few months ago my radiator.
Currently my 2000 7.40il will overheat as I drive my hour commute. When I say overheat, the temp gauge doesn't max out but it does go up enough to ding a says "coolant temperature." it will go down even if I dont stop driving or slow down. even though I did the first couple of times. I have a new engine in there because the timing chain went out and chewed up the engine a while back. I think I need a new thermostat or a new water pump. What do you think?
Any input or links is greatly appreciated.
