Anybody ever just changed CV boots? I am reviving the suspension on an '88 325iC, and the boots are split, tho the bearings seem good.
Meyle makes boot kits for under $10, while BMW's kits are $50+. They all seem to be for the outside joints - none for the inside bearings - what's that about?
Is it a big job? Doesn't seem like it, but . . .
Any guidance?
