Rear view mirror upgrade for 7 bucks!!!

So I was at pick your part looking for various parts and I came across a 7-Series. I removed the rear view mirror and bought it for 7 bucks. I believe its electrochromatic. There is off, medium, and high settings on the front. There is also two light sensors on the front and mirror part. There is a access port for a connector.

Im going to assume it takes 5v and ground. There are only two pins on the assembly.

Does anyone have a elec. schematic or info on these mirrors??

Is that one of those self dimming ones? My E39 has one of those and almost everyone I know with one (mine included) don't work anymore =/

I have a mirror upgrade for my E28 that I took out of a late 90's chevy tahoe with a built-in digital compass :D

I think its a self dimming. Not sure yet. Digi compass is awesome!! :)

I hope all I need is power and ground for the mirror. This would be an awesome upgrade.
