It's been sometime since my last post here, but this is my best place to look for help. my fathers car - 750iL 1996 - recently the engine heads were rebuilt as the catalytic converter was blocked and burnt the gaskets. anyway after that the engine runs perfectly good. the only problem now which is a puzzle to be is that when I drive it for a while especially with frequent stops the engine runs on half ( one of the banks switches off ) , and you feel the loss of power. if I switch the enigne off and crank it again then it runs fine again. when car is warm the idle is rough with the AC off. but when the enigne is cold the idle is fine and smooth.
the oxygen sensors all been changed, the MAFs also checked and they are fine.
any idea what can I do next or if this is a common problem, google did not get my results about it or maybe I dont know the right keyword to search this. any input will be very helpful to me.
