Hi

I like the idea of using a whistle to set piston to TDC

just don't know the thread size of a spark plug

this one is 14 mm (metric). Will it fit my M20 engine?

well as I was still looking for info on it. I found this

NO parts or tools are required to set the engine to TDC. If you have the Bentley manual, the procedure is described in detail in there.
