The cassette holder can be removed, but you'll probably find a nasty hole in the console that was cut to wire the cassette holder for a light.

Can it be done??

I have this nifty cassette holder next to the hand brake with a cover that flips up and individual holders for cassettes.

It's very nice, but it takes up space that can be used for something else.

Can it safely be removed? It looks like an add-on anyway. I know E32's had this as well.

I'm still at a loss over what to do with CD's. There's no space where they fit in. Will probably have to get one of those CD wallets. Or something.

You mean the box behind the handbrake? Mine has got a Dunhill sticker inside

It's blue, unfortunately.

What on earth would you want to do with a cassette holder?? :D
