Guys

the lump is over heating, it drove fine for 200 miles no issue's then suddenly it started to over heat, Then it blew a hose which links the thermostat to the engine!!

I made up a new pipe and fitted a new thermostat as the old one wasnt opening after some serious bleeding it run fine for a hour and a half just took it out again for a run and the same little pipe is expanding again.

Is it the water pump?? or the lump???

The system seems to get alot of pressure in it and the pipes get really soild

any idea's thnaks

That looks like deep trouble, sorry. Probably the headgasket blown and exhaust gas enters the coolant, therefore the hoses swell and get hard.

Do you have bubbles in the coolant reservoir?
Is there oil sludge (looks like cheese) under the cap of the coolant reservoir?
Check the dip stick for engine oil. Is there an emulsion?

The only way to determine that is a chemical test of the coolant tfor exhaust gases. Any shop can do that very quick.
Another one is a pressure leak test of all cylinders.
