somewhere in the midrange in 4th gear when I go WOT (from 85mph up 3800ish to 4500ish rpm) ... the car still pulls alright (I went much much faster to test [on a closed circuit of course and it went], but a few times I feel like it tugs back gently ... if I leave it in 3rd through those speeds where the gearing plays a part and helps it have less of a load and it's not felt ... same for 4th higher up in the rev range where the engine puts out more power.

plugs wires and all looks alright.

my dad suggested it could be that i got gas with lots of water in it ... im almost completely through that (maybe half a gallon of that left) and I just filled up today ... I'll see if that could be it and if it makes any difference.

Where else should I look if that doesn't help?

Like I said, it isn't a serious issue since the car does still pull like a freight train, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and that one time when I go bonkers on the highway, I want it to be perfect.
