Several years ago I managed a shop that sold these in addition to our other bike lines. They use a lot of plastic in place of metal.
They have a small diagnostic box under the seat that keeps track of how many times you bounce the redline and would routinely deny warranty work based on the claim you were abusing the bike.
They really had a lot of issues and we stopped selling them after having a line of clients who dropped 20-25k and could not ride their bike due to breakdowns.
