Auto tranny removal

Ok, it's confirmed that my tranny has to be removed. I've removed many from American and Japenese ( oouch ) :D cars but this is my first bimmer. I have the A4S 270/310R ( I think ).

Is there anything special I need to know or does anyone have any helpful tips? Oh yea, does the O2 sensor wire unplug anywhere or do I just unscrew it from the exhaust? ( I already dropped the exhaust and rear mount ... and the main pan ) thanks already for any help.

the sensor wire unplugs where it ends. its a bitch to remove from the exhaust, so only do that if you are gonna replace it.

im pretty sure you need some kind of special tool for something, but maybe that was a manual trans. the bentley manual should specify.

should be able to unplug it just like old school, the 02 lines should be unplugges prior just incase.
