740 jumps on take off

well my 94 740il only has 93k on it. i have a problem only when i come to a complete stop and take off. it feels like the breaks are on and then they just release at like 10mph. i took it in and was told the transmission position switch. if this is right i was wondering is it easy to replace i am a pretty avid mechanic and how where can i get it for a good deal
