How much maintinence is involved in a 7? Also, how much can a good condition running 7 go for? Are the 750s a huge hassle? :D
I'm just curious, because I like my fifer and the 7 seems to be getting to me! :)

Basically the same as a E34 535, if you buy a 735.
750 will cost you much more in maintenance and fuel.
See my website under before buyinng...., all explained there.

Funny...we have same name...and I got rid of two fives and now have a 7. They're basically the same car but the 7 has more bells and whistels that do break. Also if you get an il you will be spending time and money on rear suspension. Also the 7 especially il is slow....really slow compared to my 535 and 530.. but I like it...great cruiser. If you are going to get a seven it must be a 735 not 740 or 750. Easier to work on...more relible and decent gas mileage. I also like the hydraulic rear suspension on my il...added a tow hitch..and use it as my truck.

lol that's awesome.

So avoid the IL and the high-power motors?

You recommend the 735i... hmmm I'll seriously consider that.
