fuel problems

:p i am buying a 1987 or 1988 735i have a few problems. i beleive there are 2 fuel pumps but the dealer says no and auto zone says yes i have both of them off of the car. if anyone knows where i can get a diagram of the fueling system please let me know. also trying to find out how much pressure the fuel system is suppose to have thank you vey much. im new to bmw thing so any information you can give i appriciate thanks again

The 735 has only one fuel pump which sits in the fuel tank. Thee 750 has 2 fuel pumps. Fuel pressure is 3 bar.

i am being told this is a E23 does this make a diffrence at all? heres some more information..... the car is a 1987 or 1988 the fuel pump looks like that of the pics you sent me instead of the pics i have seen on here its not a 750 though thats a 12 cylinder correct? im not sure of alot of things about this car just looking for answers the other thing i am calling a fuel pump is next to the fuel tank and has the numbers bosch made 0 580 464 0 and on the bottom has the numbers 642 can i do a search like that? if so where?

The E32 750 is a 12-cylinder engine. The E23 was built till 06/1986.
