My 95 525iA has been making this noise that sounds like a dry cable turning in its sheath or like a fan barely rubbing on something. The sound is only noticeable above 50mph. It's more noticeable with the A/C on, but can be heard with it not operating. It can be heard from behind the center grill. As I recall though, there is nothing behind the radio and OBC. Could it be coming from the climate control unit itself? Anybody been there, done that? Recent maintenance done to the car was a radiator replacement done within the past month, along with new hoses and the blue stuff coolant.
