Is it possible to put 19" rims on the e34 if so....how difficult and how much more money does it cost to add 19 inch rims.Or can they fit nicely and easily on the car? Thanx.

What do you mean it's illegal? Is it not safe or is it impossible? Thanks

19" and 20" rims do not belong on a E34. Scratch that, 19" and 20" rims do not belong on any BMW.

Not illegal in a literal sense, but many here seem to go for a more subdued and classic look. Getting dubs on your car, especially chrome ones, have the chance of being ghetto. Big rims that look good on a big american SUV, will probably not look the same on our cars.

As for the rim size, it has been suggested that you not go bigger than 17s to prevent against possible bent rims and other suspension problems.

I totally agree 17 is big enough.

19's work fine on e46 m3, and e39 & e60. 20's on the e65.

19's are too large for the e34, and you'll be asking for problems.

Anyone have suspension problems or bend these wheels. I got them about 4 months ago and I'm just wondering what to expect in the future.

Thanks,
