Is Perf Chip for M30 735 is the same for M30 730i?

Hi,
Is the ECU the same for M30 engine 3.5L or 3.0L? Ie can i use the "performaance" chip meant for 3.5L into 3.0L?

A serious chip producer/tuner would always ask you for the Bosch number of the MOTRONIC and he will deliver a chip to for this special MOTRONIC number.
If someone offers you a chip without asking or specifying for which MOTRONIC it is, stay away.
And a even more serious tuner will ask you to bring the car to fine tune the chip on the car and make a dyno test to see the performance improvement.
