Hi

I have an 1989 BMW735il in very very good cond , and only 1 owner but anyway what i have now on the car is a very loud rubbing sound from the back end of the car when i slow down and turn corners would it be wheel bearings and are they easy to change any help would be greatful

In case of front bearings you have to replace the complete hub with bearing inside. On the rear only the bearing. This one is for the front

But I would jack up the car first to see where something could rub so that you are sure what it is.

What eaxtly is backend? Or could it be more to the middle of the car? Between the seats under the gear shifter/center console?
Then it would be the center bearing of the drive shaft.
