I took the new volvo out in the blizzard and it's a freakin' snowmobile. The 540it is staying in the garage for awhile. Here are some pix. We're getting it pretty bad, but not as bad as some of the stuff I've seen on TV. It's been blowing 30-50mph all day, so its weird- we're getting some monster drifts but amazingly my driveway has stayed clear since it's out in the wind.

Anybody have any stories yet?

not a story, but my cousin got 16.5 inches of snow. at my house we got about 10, i left the 535 in the driveway and took my moms truck out with 1000lb of rock salt in the back turned off the 4wd and slid around town for a while. last night at 4am we went out with quads and snowboards, that was a hell of a time. then the plows started and ruined the fun

Was up in NH skiing for a long weekend, and had to drive from Conway, NH to Framingham, MA then to Attleboro, MA in the damn blizzard. NH to GF's house only took about an extra hour cause I went a creative way, but from there to my house took double that normal, which was 90 mins vs 45 mins normal max. All in my E34 w/ snows....

Hey Angry! you only got 10 inches? Bastard.. we got about 24 inches and our snow blower kicked the bucket.. (granted it was older than me.. 31 years old. ) Luckily I knew a buddy with an even older backhoe, who came out and plowed our drive for us.

Yeah, maybe a foot at most. No big headache and it wasn't that bad to shovel either (powder). You guys got 24? Holy crap and you're only about 30 minutes south of me.
