Whatever the repair or purchase for the sword, the install is near impossible unless you get your head up in the foot well so the you can see the slot that the Sword fits into.

If you have a L/H/D car then it should be a piece of cake.
Try R&R'ing a sword on a R/H/D.
There's something called a steering shaft exactly in the way! ;)

BTW Mine would only work intermittantly on variable speed but it was fine on max speed. Turned out not to be the mosfets but a bad solder joint on a capacitor. Has worked fine ever since I resoldered it.

And for the RHD drivers, - good that you mentioned that problem -, here something from U.K.

Maybe you first have to register there, not sure.

One addition:
My friend Reinhard, the electronic expert on the German 7-forum just mentioned to use BUZ11 instead of the BUZ71 I mentioned in my original posting.
They should be better.

soldering joints, but probably more expensive.

This is the Data sheet. 30A, 50V

This is the one for BUZ71 14A, 50V

It's easy to compare.

If Reinhard in Germany and Javier say it, go for BUZ11.
Reinhard is a pro in electronics. He has his own company and makes many other things for the members of the E32 forum, such as this flashlight innards completely new designed.

Here you see his company name "ReMay"

That was the first prototype with my old flashlight.
And that was my DIY first mod to LED with a rechargeable cell phone battery
